Rich,
when you say you disconnected the ISV, to you mean disconnected the
electrical connector or disconnected it so there was NO air going thru
it? If you just disconnected the electrical connector, the ISV may be
stuck open and causing the fast idle. Otherwise, check and make sure
the throttle is not stuck partly open and there are NO air leaks
between the throttle and the block.
Good luck and happy hunting

Hello,
I am having a very bothersome problem on my 5000S
The idle after warm up is at 1500-1800 with the idle screw all of
the way in! I disconneted the ISV and it caused it to drop to this level
it was idling at 2000 RPM with it connected. Any suggestion??
Please, it suck in stop and go traffic when your car is running way too
fast!
TIA,
Rich Andrews
