In a previous article, Tom Nas (tnas@tpdirect.nl) reported on a pollen 
filter for 80/90 model Audis.  He estimated the filter and filter 
adapter assembly would be $60 US total equivalent price in the 
Netherlands.

Inquiry to my closest purveyor of Audi parts (Euro-sport Motorcar, 
Merrimack, NH) reveals that the approximate price of the filter 
adapter, part no. 893 091 401 is almost $120. US.  Each filter 
element, part no 893 091 700, is approximately $65. US.  This suggests 
an impressive transatlantic transportation fee.  If anyone knows of a 
significantly lower price here in the USA, please report it.
