5kcstq front brakes

Time to replace the pads and rotors (warped).  Been tuned in to recent
threads about brakes and pads.  Decided to go for Brembo cross-drilled and
Cool Carbon Blue.  Called Best Price Auto Parts and they quoted $203/pr for
rotors.  Don't carry Cool Carbon.  Recommended KVR pads.  Described them as
carbon fibre pads with a thermal insert, semi-metallic, no warm-up time, no
squeal, no dust.  Said Cool Carbons are metallic and thus harder on rotors
than KVR would be.  $93.74 for the set.  They asked if I have dual piston
calipers.  Mea culpa. After being on the list for 6 months and reading about
this a number of times, I have not retained this info or how to tell/know
without removing wheels, etc.  I think I do...  It's a '87 5kcstq,  5-87
build date.  Anybody out there know?

Also...
Is that a decent price on the rotors?  Would you recommend something else?
Anybody know anything about KVR pads?  Haven't seen them discussed before.
