last minute questions and Linda



Tranny is still not in, but hopefully tomorrow.
Here's a couple of last minute questions:

- I'm assuming that the clutch slave was bad based on the
  leakage.  Should I do the master too just in case?

- Inside the bell housing, the throwout bearing sits on a 
  plastic sleeve (Bentley says do not grease).  A lister told
  me that his had melted and there is now a metal replacement.
  Should I do it?

- A mechanic told me to check the crank pilot bearing since I
  have everything out.  How do I know if it's bad?

The delay is because my mechanic couldn't make it, and also because
Linda shipped me the wrong CV boots.  She blamed it on the supplier
but seemed to be taking it out on me.  She's been very curt
lately, prefacing any conversation with "You've got 5 seconds".
Anyone else getting this treatment?
