<< Hello Fellow Audian's;
 I have a small to medium hydraulic leak on the 87 5kCSTQ. It appears to
 be where the brake fluid resevoir mounts to the master cylinder. I fail
 to see exactly how this reservoir is held on.
 I am wondering if it is a simple job of just replacing the rubber
 mounting gaskets between these two units.

 Any help appreciated, I am tried of the oil on my asphalt driveway and
 it is starting to leak a little more daily.

That is a common prollum, yes the plugs are available separately... Coupla
bux ea... Pull the hole MC resevoir out (it is a push in plug fit) pry out
the old plugs with a screw driver, clean the top and lips of the mounting
plug holes really well (leave some fluid in the MC holes and medal slotted
washers in, less crud goes into MC that way)..... once cleaned up the new
plugs go in and the resevoir as well.... This might be the time to clean out
the resevoir of any crap as well, I use brake cleaner, then flush with some
brake fluid.... refill resevoir and bleed new fluid.... Total time <1hr....

Good luck
