The real question is, why would it matter? what would be the difference?
What do you mean "created"?
We still (or "I" still) can say to ourselves in the absence of external
evidence of any kind:
I think, therefore I am.
Now we (I) can worry about the rest of the universe if we want. Any
analysis of whether our (my) "thought" is "real" or meaningful is more proof
of the original deduction. It's one of the few questions I thought
philosophy in general ever actually answered. Most of them it just builds a
more and more fascinating series of questions from -
