exhaust question for 92+100S

I've seen alot of cars lately with huge single exhaust tips 4.5" to 5" in
diameter. I'm sure some of you know what I am talking about.

I was wondering in designing an exhaust system, which is better having
conservative twin tips or one single monster tip? 

The intake pipe diameter will be 2.5" for both design. So is it purely
aesthetic then? And if so what do you guys think looks better? One huge
single tip or two moderate size tip?

Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks!
