Re: Oh the tragedy !

Did you check the the gaps between the rear door and the rear fender? The
85' 5000s that I used to have got rear ended once on the freeway by a 77'
Chevette. At first glance I had almost the exact damage like your car
sustained but then upon closer inspection I noticed the rear fender got
pushed foward by about 1/8 of an inch. The insurance adjuster didn't even
notice it at first.

Also check the turn signal light and brake light on that side, mine has a
hairline crack on it, I didn't notice it the first time I looked at it
that evening.

Anyway the 77' Chevette was totalled ;) The guy had no insurance and his
license was suspended 3 weeks prior to the accident because he had 2
other accidents prior to hitting my car. Guess what I saw the guy pulled
up along side next to me on the freeway 3 weeks later!
