Unit conversion-the answers (low Audi cont)

Well, ladies and gents, on this slightly boring but rather useful subject
that has nothing and everything to do with our cars, this is what we've
come up with so far. If anyone has anything to correct or add, please drop
me a line!

-Litres <-> US Gallons
-Litres <-> Imp Gallons
There are 4.5 litres to an Imp gal and 3.79 litres to a US gal.
4.73 l per Imp gal. (Mike Miller's answer)
*Who's right here?

-Nm <-> Lb ft
ft-lb(1.356) = nm

-kg <-> Lbs
1 pound = 453.6 g or .4536 Kg
1 Kg    = 2.205 pound

-litres <-> quarts
1 liter = 1.0567 quart
1 quart = 0.946 liter (reciprocal of above)
us gal is 128 oz. liter is 33.824 oz. imp gal is 160 oz

-hp <-> kW
There's 1.341 kW per hp.

Inches <-> cm
1 cm = 2.54 cm
1 ft = 30.48 cm

Thanks for your input everyone!

PS It seems you've an advantage if you're a Unix user on this one!

PPS I'm now able to calculate that, in US gallons, my car does about 33 -
36 mpg. Not bad eh?

             I think animal testing is a terrible idea;
             they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
