The wire clip, that goes thru drift pin, holding the slave cylinder in
place, is for keeping out dirt and debris so the pin wont corrode inside
the tranny! Try removing one that has! BTDT! NO FUN!
I currently use a bolt and nut in place of the drift pin and wire.
Have been for 3 years. NO Problems to date, and it makes R & R a snap!
