I talked to the guys at Ira Audi Tonight (Danvers Ma)
and what they said is.....

Mid Nov, autos expected 
late Jan,  expect Sticks

22.9 including freight
1600 add on for Quattro
std. seat doesn't have the lumbar support 
stock comes with 15" 8? spoke rims
16" optional
coldweather pack = heated washer nozzels, seats, Drvr lock
sunrf pack is ~ a grand to 1100 includes remote locking for doors?
colors pelican blue cactus green black silver met. red pearlwhite
option colors aquine(?) blue a light met.green (mica?) yellow and one other 

can't remember much more but I did snag a pamphlet for the '97's

with a beamin yellow 1.8T on the cover
