If it ain't broke don't fix it!!
Hi Gang,
Now what have I found?? The car is running fine('87 5KCSQ); dies if I
pull the oil filler; stumbles if I pull the dip stick; runs like "we the
people" on its "Charlie spring" and shim. So, what do I do...I go looking for
things that might be wrong...just for fun mind you. Like I said yesterday:
"idle hands are the devil's playground". So today I decide to take my trusty
multimeter and check the idle/full throttle switch, as I don't hear anything
clicking at WOT. And what do I find...idle function works fine, but the WOT
switch seem to be stuck in WOT all the time. Is this a common failing? I don't
remember;-\ And, is it doing anything more than maybe hurting my fuel
mileage(kilometage, is this an offical word for you folks that use km's??:-))
On the + side, just changed my oil and filter in anticipation of the
winter season with my favorite Amsoil products. No plug inten...HECK, it's a
plug; I like the stuff!!!
Happy motoring and pray for good weather for the Kanc. run,
