The Peich-meister is at it again!!!! You're absolutely right. As it is,
VW has nearly signed its own death warrant! VW is pricing its self right of
business. Now it looks like Audi is going to do the same darn thing!
My first car was an Audi Fox (No, not the greatest car Audi ever built) that
my folks bought in 79 for $5000. It was given to me when I turned 16 in
1987. If I knew (mechanically speaking) then what I know now, that car
would still be on the road! As it was, they traded it on, dare I say it, a
ford escort, (ewwwwwww). I refused to drive it! In 91, bought a new Golf,
and have been driving it lovingly ever since! I just turn 140k miles on it
last night!
They are nearly the best cars ever made!(Ok, I may be going out on limb
there) But Peich is insane!!!!
just my $.02 worth!
