Our pleasure!! And thanks for the "lifetime" invitation. Much appreciated.

Yes, very nice indeed. Gosh, those A4s are great cars!! (Too bad they
produce so much brake dust, though, eh, John?)
>You may recall that she rode with him over and back from Mike's Crab House.
A treat indeed for the Faire Dora. Watch out Bart, she may want you to buy
her an A4 anyday now!!
Hat's off to Bart and Dora for a fine choice in dining. The food was great,
and the atmosphere was wonderful (along the riverfront), barring overhead
"attacks" from seagulls...right, John? SPLAT!! UGH!! :-)

I think that Brian is already campaigning for one, right Gary? I think that
you'll have a tough time, deciding upon whether to fix up the turbo, and
keep it yourself, or pass it along to the young lad!! Good luck!!

And boy, what a treat!! Top down, Porsche cap firmly on my head......
First, a rather BRISK ride with Bart that will be remembered forever. (I'll
spare the details, but I'll say this much... it is a good thing Bart knows
his Porsche and those roads WELL!!)
Then, my chance at driving the bright red Cabriolet. Beautiful car indeed.
Takes a bit getting used to (i.e. the clutch is one tough b*stard to get
used to, right Bart? Just how did you manage to refrain from cursing as I
kept stalling?), but once you get going, it is MARVELOUS. Made me all the
more of a Porsche-phile. I better start saving now....
>(thanks for the lovely note, Jim, the Faire Dora was really overwhelmed at
the sentiments)
You're welcome. Much deserved.
>Dune and Bubba said howdy, and join the Faire Dora in urging you to come back!
And good tidings to Dune and Bubba as well!!
Thanks again for the invitation. As Schwarzenegger says "I'll be back"!! :-)
Overall, it was a great day. Great food, great cars, great company, and
great conversation. I highly recommend it for anyone on the list who is
contemplating such a gathering. It's worth it.
It was a pleasure meeting fellow Audi-philes and quattro-list members. What
a great thing we have going here. I am amazed at the comraderie and
friendship amongst this list. Thanks to all for restoring faith in the
virtues of human decency and respect. What a classy group.
Take care. Happy Motoring!!
P.S. For those that may be offended at the extra bandwith, please accept my
apology.
