My sources about the sport quattro tell me that there
are 214 cars with the chassis numbers
SQ 85 EA 905 XXX and XXX means 001 to 214.
Chassis numbers 006-024 were experimental cars which never
left the factory. Most of these vehicles were subsequently
scrapped. Chassis number 101-120 were alotted to the Audi
motorsport department and used on competition cars. Not all
cars built found their way into the hands of customers: 
only 164 cars were actually sold. In the fall of 1988 , five
cars ( numbers 030,060,080,171 and 175 ) , which had 
previously been used as spare part depots , were completely
overhauled and sold.
