Possibly, but on the 92+ 100/A6 Quattro's with automatic, you do not
even have the option of checking the fluid level yourself (Something I
would normally do before a long trip). My wagon's original
transmission had a cap where the dipstick would normally be. The
replacement transmission doesn't even have that. I guess we should be
glad they still let us check the engine oil ourselves.
