Re: Removing A-arm bushings...



If the bushing is badly corroded you might
not be able to press it out. Take a drill 
and remove the material between the center
piece of the bushing and the outside housing.
Once the center is out take a small hacksaw
and produce a small notch in the outside
housing. With a small chisel you can now
carefully pry the bushing open and remove
it. This method takes some time and some
drill bits but is better than the brute force 
approach with a press.
If you use the new style bushing , you can
install them easily with a vice. To be able
to install the much better old style bushing
you need a funnel-shaped tool and some
silicon grease to guide the bushing into the 
A-arm.
