Tom,
Seems to me your car has the same intercooler as mine ('86
5KCSTQ) and in that case, the bottom hose is a 30 minute job even if you
have all thumbs. You just want to make sure that you get it on without
any leaks (obviously). This isn't rocket science here.
My opinion is that you should tackle it yourself.
