timing jumped
replacing a valve or two insnt really a big deal.once the head is off you
can probably see why you need a valve and rectify any problems, as well as
clean-up the head and valves, install new seals and gaskets and start fresh.
you have already put cash into the car with no payback in terms of fun
driving. the head redo should put you back on the road and into some
enjoyment of the car. otoh i would also tend to do the rings and rod
bearings at the same time and really start fresh. compression of 105 seems
low to me. i would expect closer to 150.but then again it could depend on
the calibration of your tester.
