You get used to it. Beware getting into a less sensitively pedalled car
though.

I have the Jacuard Satin interior - beautiful cloth and I am told extremely
hard wearing. Its the standard cloth on the sports seats (these are a superb
option).

I understand the US sports package doesn't include the sports suspension - 
pity as IMHO this is the best option on my car after the MTM Motronic upgrade
to 187hp (which answers your last query). Higher hp require breathing changes
and really higher hp requires bigger turbo (expensive!!!!)
