Thanks to all for the information. Early last evening Gabe (Linda gone)
called from Carlson and said they figured out the part #. Had to call
Germany, VW etc. Seems there was a * next to the part # that no one
could figure out. They figured it out and that sent them to the right
part. I'll post the # when I get the part 'cuz other dealers had the
same problem. Expensive: $260 retail, $211 net. They will ship overnite
too N/C. I will use Gabe in the future as the really worked on this and
Linda sort of did not move too quick. I had to call Linda back all the
time and Gabe would  call me. They work of commission and Gabe gives the
same deals, he says, so take your pick. Appolgize for putting down in
previous note "RR" which was supposed to reflect "right rear" as some
came back with front suspension answers. My fault.
