ur-quattro misfire?

Your description was a little different. This is _just_ like a misfire.

Yup. I've now decided to take the plunge and strip the fuel metering system
completely, probably in about two weeks from now. I'm just going through the
parts I'll need ready to order them.
The high voltage end of the system (rotor, distributor, plug cables, coil) is
all OK - primary and secondary windings are in spec on the coil, compression is
above 8.9 in all cylinders.
I think I'm going to buy myself some fuel injection tools.
