According to the Dutch AutoWeek, the S/V70 and 90 are the successors to
respectively the 850 and the 940/960. Here in Holland we get another,
locally produced, S/V40 model. It's based on a common frame with (another
local) Mitsubishi, the Carisma (no spelling error, just semi-humorous)
They intend to race these 40-series in the BTCC next season. Test drove a
standard version, thought it was cr*p. Well below the Swedish Volvo build
quality. They intend to compete with the Audi A4 with this car... a good
thing it's a *lot* cheaper!

Capt. Blackadder: 'Well, the usual procedure is to jump sixty feet in
the air, and scatter yourself over a large area.'
