There is none, that I know of.

Ooooh, electronically controlled, eh? :-)

Have you sat in the passenger seat and listened?

The reason I ask is that it may not really be biased at all.
The A4 has tweeters mounted up high on the door panel. While
this has a great effect on imaging and high-frequency clarity,
it also has the undesirable effect that you describe. See,
tweeters are notoriously directional. And while the one on the
right passenger door is pointed straight at your right ear, the one
on the left door is pointed so that all of those highs sorta
float past the front of your face.

I know this isn't a solution, just want you to be aware that
there may not actually *be* a solution, at least not one that
can be fixed by replacing parts. Just to make sure, try
listening to the stereo in different positions of the car,
keeping in mind that the steering column will block some
high-frequency information, too.
