Yes, I did sit in other locations and noticed the same effect. While
in the passenger seat the sound still is biased to the right,
although sounding more balanced than the driver side (naturally).
Your comment about the sound being blocked out or coming at a
different angle is exactly why I like having a balance control to
begin with. I can set the balance more to the left to compensate for
the various problems caused on the driver side (more equipment, your
body in the way, stronger angle). The problem is only compounded
when the balance is actually balanced to the right instead of the
left as I usually prefer.
