Common problem. That switch is part of a many-function pot/switch assembly.
It can be bought for, I believe, $38 from a Blaupunkt supplier, Continental
Imports, in Florida. Kind of expensive.

I just bought a remanufactured unit from Audi for $109, less the regular
discount coupons that dealers issue, or $99. What you get is a new looking
box with a 1 year warranty. By the way, if any of the little rubber tactile
buttons are failing they cost $2.35 each x 15 = a lot more $. Rebuilt starts
looking better.

Resolder won't work, I've tried it. You may buy a little time with some
contact cleaner if you can get it into the switch, but I doubt it.

I made a set of removal tools with heavy coat hangar wire. Others use nails.
Simply push in nails about 3/4 inch in the 4 holes around box and pull it out
by the cassette hole.
