Sean,
Agree with you 100%. I have had my A4Q about 9 months now and the
enthusiasm level is high as ever. This is a car that really grows on
you. Simply beautifully made and drives great.
As to the factory radio with cassette, you can get the CD changer
option (dealer installed) to gain CD capability. I actually like it
this way, as I have a number of cassettes that I like to listen to
while I drive.
If I had to pick nits about this car, there are only a few:
1. Brake pedal effort a little too light and touchy for my taste.
2. Stock Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires too squirmy. Running higher
pressures help a little, but ultimate cornering limit is still
limited severly by these tires.
3. There is a very, very faint whistle from the side view mirror when
the car is cruising at 70mph or so.
4. The automatic climate control makes faint little bursts of
mechanical buzzing noises when it is doing its automatic thing
(kinda neat, really, to hear this thing work...).
5. Small rattling noises from inside the B-pillars (recently fixed by
dealer under warranty).
Have fun, and congratulations on a great new car!
