RE: A4 Steering Wheel Removal

DO NOT REMOVE YOUR WHEEL. Unless you are curious about explosives!!!

I want to remove the steering wheel cover from my A4. There is an
annoying vibration coming from it whenever the road gets a little
bumpy. The dealer says it's normal. My girlfriend's A4 is fine.
I recall that a while back, some list members had mentioned a similar
problem with other models.

There are two TORX T-30 fasteners behind the wheel, at 9 and 3
o'clock positions. They are screwed into the steering wheel
center hub/cover. Both the cover and the fasteners are "rubber"
isolated from the steering wheel.

Any advice would be appreciated.
