I'll forgive you. Trees/rocks or oncoming car/busses? Tough design choice.
No, I'm sure that Audi's intention is to let the driver decide.
My car did this once. Just aligned, brand new tires. Service manager
said that they could not figure it out. He told me that if it still did
it in a week or so to swap the LF tire to the RF and visa versa. One week
later I did just that. Swapped them around wheels and everything. Fixed
the problem immediately, never had it again. These were not unidirectional
tires. Unidirectional tires would have to be remounted.
