RE: Audi Car Top Carriers

We've had good luck with Thule. Same feet kit fit my wife's old '87
5KSQ, her current '95 Passat GLX, my old '89 90, and my current '90 CQ.
We have bike carriers, and just got one of those coffins for it.
Definitely the way to go. The coffin and the trunk of the Passat
swallowed luggage, excessive Christmas gifts, two sets of golf clubs,
stroller, baby backpack, and assorted large kitchen appliances for two
adults and three kids for a week with the grandparents over 1000 miles
away. We mistakenly decided to leave the mountain bikes at home,
although they would have fit on the rack beside the coffin.

I found the best price on Thule at Car Racks Direct
(http://www.outdoorsports.com, 800.722.5734, Wilton, CT). HTH.
