Sounds like ignorant rhetoric...Ive owned my 85 ur-q for just over a
month now and while I like the handling will stick with quattro I've
found the engine sounds and performs more like a "truck" than any of the
several pushrod V8's Ive ever owned...:)

For all it's high technology..the I5 Audi engine is not that impressive
from a user's point of view. And just because Chevrolet have used
pushrods to activate the valves instead of ohc's hardly relegates the
design to the fifties..from what Ive read it's a thouroughly modern
design...ohc's aren't that new any way.

I rather think my ur-q would be a nicer sounding, and driving motor
vehichle with a nicely tuned, aluminium V8 up front...:)
