That seems a bit high, although VI Improver is a large part of the
additives in conventional oil.  Based on % Zn in the finished oils,
treat rate is at least 6-8%.  The treat rate for additives other than
VII should be higher than in conventional oils, to support longer drain
intervals.

Like the silver bearing test for railroad diesels?  (Or was that four
balls...)

The Redline notes are esp. good!
