Re: Early Coupes...

Hi all,

Perusing a (to me) new scrapyard, I found another Audi oddity... a Coupe
GT, with 'quattro' badging, and auto trans! This one was also wheel-less,
fairly light damage otherwise. Intact apart from most of its interior and
one or two windows. I couldn't see underneath (no wheels, so it was really
close to the ground) to check if it was really a q, but the badging looked
authentic. The car wore 1983 or 84 plates. It had been converted to run on
LPG, which is quite common here (LPG costs about one-third of regular
unleaded). All in all, a very rare beast indeed!

Bye,

Tom

PS Thanks to those who helped with my blower motor removal problem. I
didn't entirely remove it, but managed to keep the squeals at bay by
spraying it with silicone lubricant. It works for now... I can always
replace the motor, but preferably in the summer, when it's not raining
constantly...
