They should've manually pre-filled the pump (prime it) with Pentosin
before starting the car and running it dry. This is pretty typical
screw-up for a corner shop. I have seen it happening twice on other
people's cars. Sorry to tell you this, but the pump is probably history.
Try to replace it under the warranty.
As far as bleeding goes: there's nothing special to that. The sys bleeds
itself during first several lock to lock turns of the wheel.
