In the March 3 issue of Autoweek is 'the first official' photograph of
the new A6, which is to be introduced in Geneva this month and make it
to the US in November.

One very sharp machine, IMHO!

The photo is from the front quarter. The front end looks similar to the
A4, only beefier. The roofline is a sweeping arc, keeping in the
design style of the Audi TT, Passat and yes, even the new beetle. The
front edge of the roof wraps over the windshield, very much like the TT.
The rear quarter panel looks very muscular, and I can barely make out
the TT type taillights which wraps around the side...

It's shown in crystal silver and 10-spoke wheels... All we now is
the S version and on American shores!!!

The article mentions the engines available in US will be 2.8L V6,
I take it that this will be the 30V, 193hp version. "Following the
launch of an Avant station wagon version in 1998, Audi is expected to
spice the A6 lineup with a new bahnstorming quattro flagship using a
five-valve variant of the A8's 4.2L V8."

I'm saving my pennies!!!!
