RE: Cheap Mufflers

I did a similar thing with my car, after 13 years the original primary
silencer hit some ice last winter, kinda loosened things up. So last
spring I went to a friends shop to fix her up.  
I bought the following:

Cherry bomb            $25
Piping (not necesary)  $60
Couple clamps	       $ 5

Cost me only $90 (CDN) 65$ american i guess.

I didnt really need the piping, I could of just sawed off the old
muffler and clamped in the new one (would've cost around $40).  I chose
the Cherry bomb cause I like load, roaring cars. The car sounds like an
old V-8 at idle, just rumbles. While driving it just screams (indy
car??) , like many of you have said before, nothing quite sounds as good
as an audi at 5000 rpm.
