Re: 4kcsq left front thunk noise


Check the slotted nut that threads onto the strut, holding the spring &
strut bearing in place.  My father found that spinning the strut rod
(like when tightening the shock tower strut nut) can cause the slotted
nut to loosen up, resulting in a thunking noise.
