Crankshaft Nut

I know I'm going to get a lot of flack on this but I borrowed a big strap
wrench from work and wrapped it around the damper. Then I took my breaker
bar, added a four foot piece of pipe to the end and the nut loosened easily.
I tightened it the same way except I torqued it to 250 ft lbs on the nut
(not the 330 or whatever).

That was 40,000 miles ago and so far all is well. Lucky I guess.
