Coupe GT rear shocks & other questions

Does anyone have any experience with a specific brand of shock that will
cause the rear to be lifted a bit when installed on an 87 Coupe GT?

I just bought some new tires for it (205/50/15) and am looking for a little
more clearance. The last time I tried this size they rubbed the fender lip a
little at the rear of the wheel well arch.

Also removed the Addco anti-sway bar last night after about 4 years of having
it on. Can't really tell a big difference in handling. Sure does ride
smoother back there now (no binding) and sits a little higher too.

Aaaand, the left rear parking brake lever on the caliper is not moving
smoothly. It's not frozen, but it won't return to "released" position under
the power of it's own spring. Is this something I can free up with more
cleaning or is it a sign of a bad caliper?

I'm amazed how little work this car ever needs...

TIA
