Why don't you do like the owner's manual says, Take a look at it.
Or have someone els (mechanic) take off the cover took look at it.
If it has no cracks/signs of stretching/teeth messed up then leave
it alone, Remember, you change the timing belt, you will have to do the
water pump, because if you don't the water pump will go out shortly after-
wards. (usually)
