Dialynx in the UK have built a number of pseudo-Sports by cutting up old ur-
quattros, but as far as I know they've all been FWD only.

The history of the "Sports" is a little more blurred than the clean lists in 
the books would imply - a number of odd vehicles have been put together over 
the years under official and semi-official auspices by people like David Sutton 
(now running Historic Motorsport).   Sometimes they've used 100% factory parts, 
sometimes their own floor pans and other components.
 
If anyone's thinking of attending either Goodwood or Coy's festival in early 
August, David and some of the 1981-4 mechanics are interesting people to talk 
to.
