Re: WOT switch

On my '86 Coupe GT, I have checked that said switch as described in
several posts on this list. One or two posts recommended to depress the
switch while the car was idling and if the engine slightly bogged
down(due to excess fuel being added), all was well. Tried that simple
test and my I-5 very slightly increases in revs?! The engine seems to
idle at a slightly higher rpm and steady itself(no wandering up and
down). Is this alright? I don't have a MM to test any further as
described, so am wondering if anything else can be done or if that is
typical for a KX(?) engine w/ slightly advanced timing(at distributor),
a K&N "swiss-cheesed air-box," a Jacobs Electronics Omni-Pak(don't know
if that has anything bearing on test) , and possibly a faulty O2 sensor.
