RE: K&N Cone "K"onversion for 90-90

Check out the VR6 Technical and Performance Page -- lots of good stuff
there for NA cars, and a few links for G-lader cars too. In particular,
there are dyno results of a couple cone-filter tests. Seems that the VR6
is a little intake temp. sensitive, so it doesn't help. A cold-air intake
helps a bunch though.

Boils down to this -- there's more info there though.

This car doesn't like the cone (P-flow). There are some air-box mods that
seem to be the trick for the VR6 cars though (NOT just drilling holes). It
helps bring in cold air from the front right fender (factory cold-air
inlet) and bumps power. You might check into these options.
