Allan.
You too can have lots of fun with your Coupe.
All you have to do is apply some left foot braking.
Not only does it make you look spectacular but it makes the car a lot
more stable around those slippery corners.
It takes some practise (than again I always say thats the reason they
built those big parking lots around the malls) but once you have got
the basics it becomes a second nature.
Most common mistake people make in winter is when they feel the rear
end sliding out they take their foot of the gas. Big mistake. The
fronts now act as brakes (through the engine) and here we go around.
Same goes when making lane changes through slush. You have to stay
on the power so that the front wheels pull you through them not slow
you down.
Its amazing how we get used to the quattro and once it's gone realize
how hard it is for others.
Just my $0.02
Later.
