Re: Wheels STOLEN in NH

I recall recently when I bought a couple of new sets of BFGoodrich tires
from Super Shops (who is the cheapest by far on BFG's), they wrote down
all of the tire serial numbers on my warranty certificate. Too my
knowledge, they normally don't do this, but I purchased an extended road
hazard warranty on the tires, which caused them to write down the serial
numbers for all the tires. So anyway, it is obviously still done, but
only if the shop wants to do it, or if you purchase a different warranty
for the tire. The tire comes with a standard warranty from the factory
which warrants them against defects, and for that there is no reason to
write down the serial number (it's obviously very easy to tell what kind
of tire it is by looking at the side wall or even the tread pattern).
Just my .02.
