Scraped knuckles..
Hi folks,
After my morning class today, I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous
sunshine and fix a few minor things on the Q:
(1) New Alternator Belt (w/new star-bolt on alternator)
(2) Replaced Crankcase Ventilation hose
(3) re-taped the leaky windscreen washer nozzles.
Many cuts, burns, and scrapes later.. the alternator belt's screams for mercy
are finally silent. I can now drive with the climate control on and use the
rear-defroster. I can sleep easy at night..the demons are at rest. :)
Just thought I'd share a mostly sucessful Audi-afternoon with everyone.
Why mostly sucessful? I get in the car to go out and grab a bite to eat..
and the diagnostic display lights up with the brake pad warning light.
My Q is taunting me. Is "Sense of Humor" an option? If so, how do I disable
it?
Have a great weekend folks and be safe.
