I had a great day on the ur-quattro yesterday, replacing the hydraulic
lifters after 140k miles. All the ticks and rattles are now gone, but I've got
a minor hesitation at 2200rpm to deal with. It's a hell of a job on an MB ur-
quattro -involves removing the auxiliary radiator on top of everything else.
The Coupe (today) wasn't so easy. What I thought was a minor fuel pump swap
(being followed around by a swarm of bees) became less minor when I discovered
that those sneaky Bosch people had changed the inlet diameter from 9mm to 15mm,
and the existing hoses wouldn't fit.
