I was living on Long Island at that time and drove by the Callaway shop in
CT one day while I was out with my (now ex-) girlfriend "antiquing,"
something which I absolutely HATE to do. Anyway, I convinced her to we had
to stop by and tour the place ... they were nice enough to show me around
and give me a brief ride in the car they had just finished installing a
turbo kit in. Yes, it was an Audi Coupe ... at the time, I was a BMW guy so
I didn't really pay much attention to the car but I was definitely impressed
by the turbo installation! I don't recall much about the car's performance
but I probably still have the Callaway literature they gave me; if anyone's
interested, I'll rummage around for it. As I recall, the price was
definitely in the $5k+ range.
