Audi Press Release - Another Sales Record

Just got this off the Audi Web Site:

  AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Audi of America, Inc.
reported
U.S. sales of 3,303 for the month of April, representing a 16.5 percent
increase over the same month last year when sales were 2,836.
    It was Audi's best April sales results since 1987.  Audi has
demonstrated
this kind of year-over-previous-year sales increase for 28 of the last
29
months.
    Sales of Audi's popular A4 led the way in April with a 29.1%
increase over
last year.  This good news comes after this week's release of the J.D.
Power
and Associates Initial Quality Study (IQS) where Audi received its best
ranking ever as one of the nation's top ten automotive brands for new
car
initial quality.
    So far in 1997, Audi has sold 11,018 representing a 27.9 percent
increase
over the same period last year when the total was 8,612.
