Hello Chris (and others).

My 1984 80q has been leaking from the rear diff since I've owned it (seven 
years now).  Do you think it's within the ability of a non-professional 
mechanic to change the seal without using the special tool (I've replaced 
head gaskets and struts bushes in suspensions, but I've always been 
frightened of gearboxes and diffs)?
